What worked:

• eating and talking
• great format!! Food always works!!!
• Nice to hear that there will be follow-up
• seating new teachers with MEA/PEA reps facilitated discussion well; specific discussion questions led to a meaningful discussion
• chance to talk to colleagues, see the viewpoints of other teachers at other grade levels
• meet and greet

What could be improved:

• more prompts for the questions
• clearer sense of purpose at times – specifically around survey presentation
• most worked well – pencils for everyone
• more time together
• maybe more time
• more space at dinner to write and have space to eat
• more new teachers

One suggestion you would make:

• Find a way to get more new teachers to attend
• Specific workshops - classroom management, technology, spec. ed
• Do this more often – great exchange of information
• Maybe more specific questions
• It was a wonderful opportunity to meet others
• Great job!
